BACKSTORY

Describe their childhood (newborn - age 10): When Fiora was born, only her mother cared for her. Her father, Steven, was an alcoholic, and was usually abusive. Fiora grew up seeing her mother get abused a lot, and her older [adopted] sister was sometimes abused also. By the time Fi was ~9 she was starting to be abused. Her father became a threat, and she no longer felt safe in the house. Fi and her adopted sister would usually try to sneak out and go somewhere else, but were either caught in the process or found just a few hours (to a day) later.

Describe their  teenage years (11 - 19): Fiora's father became worse. He drank way more than he should've, and became more abusive. Fiora's adopted sister soon went missing, and she has not heard from or about her since. After she went missing, Fiora became increasingly angry and upset with her father. She would hit back, and became a very aggressive child due to her only friend [at the time] going away. She did not care for her father, and she wondered why her mother stayed. On Christmas Eve, Steven had become so drunk that he almost beat Fi's mother senseless. She was knocked unconscious, and Steven came after Fiora. Fiora knew what was going to happen, but she could not fight back. She was horribly hurt, but she managed to escape the household and run to the neighbors house. The neighbors called the police and they arrested Steven and gave medical attention to Molly.

Describe their  adult years (20+): Fiora had heard about her father being arrested, and felt proud of what she did. She also felt a sliver of guilt because it was her own father that she had put away. He could've easily gone to rehab. But he didn't, so Fi supposed he got what he deserved. She had no where else to live, so she just wandered until she found an old farmhouse. She had always thought burnt down buildings had looked cool. Soon, Fiora had access to matches, and begun lighting things on fire. She usually just burnt sticks, but got to branches. She became hooked. This was her addiction. She loved fire, she always did.
